Certified Tutor

I have 10 years of classroom experience working with students. I graduated with a Master's degree from the University of West Georgia and I have a Bachelor's degree from Berry College. In addition to these, I have a gifted and ESOL endorsement. With my 10 years of classroom experience, I have worked with a variety of students including those who are struggling academically in the areas of elementary reading and math. I am available to tutor students in any academic areas in grade levels Kindergarten-5th grade. My favorite subject to teach is reading because it opens your mind up to so many opportunities to learn!

I am the type of teacher who believes in providing students with as many opportunities to learn and grow as possible. Every student I tutor learns in a different way, and I believe it is important to personalize the learning process. It is also important to get to know the students I tutor in order to further support their learning needs.

In my free time, I love to travel! I love to learn about new cultures and pick up new languages. In addition to traveling, I also enjoy reading and going to the movies!
