Hi there! My name is Mackenna and I am so happy to be part of the Varsity Tutors platform! I'm an avid writer and I love to read everything from fiction, to poetry, to non-fiction and everything in between! I also have a passion for helping people. When I'm not reading I am writing-working on my own novel, playing with my dog and cat, and exploring subjects that interest me. I'm so excited to have the opportunity to guide you through your academic journeys!

I am here because I have a passion for helping others learn and become their best selves. I grew up with my father, a college English teacher, encouraging me to read as often as possible. I started writing at a young age and knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I've had job after job in different fields since graduating from college, and along my journey I've helped many people through writing and sharing my knowledge of other subjects.
