Certified Tutor

I currently teach all levels of high school French in Alamance county. I recently received my Masters in French and Francophone Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I taught undergraduate French courses in addition to pursuing my own coursework. As a tutor, I work with students to develop their weaknesses and let their strengths shine on their current material. Furthermore, I strive to better prepare my students for the next level and seek to lessen the chances of them becoming disheartened and pushed away by the difficulty of French in the future. This is because I teach French not only to help students fulfill their graduation requirements, but also to instill in them a life-long passion for studying global relations, the appreciation of diversity and difference, and the tools for navigating foreign cultures.
