I have a BA in English Literature from Colgate University, and an MA in English Literature from Columbia University in New York. A resident of Greenwich Village, NYC, for 25 years, I home schooled my three children, now ages 14, 19, and 22. I have taught every aspect of English, from teaching my kindergarteners to read and write, to elementary, junior high, and high school grammar, spelling, writing, and American and European literature. I've taught classes and worked with students one-on-one. I've also helped prepare students for the English language sections of high school entrance exams and SATs.

I love to travel. My husband and children and I have traveled extensively in Europe. I discovered recently that a motorcycle is the way to go! I love reading -- literature, history, philosophy. I love being in NYC and taking advantage of all it has to offer: museums, the opera, films.
