Hello! My name is Mollie and I'm currently a sophomore at Rutgers University - New Brunswick. I'm majoring in Marine Science at the School for Environmental and Biological Sciences. I'm pursuing a career as a Research Scientist, and want to show students the versatility of algebra! My journey with math got off to a rocky start in elementary and middle school, but ended in a 4 on my AP Calculus exam in high school. I want to help students understand the overarching concepts of their classes to help them understand the fundamental principles behind the work they are doing. I also want to show struggling students that getting a problem wrong doesn't mean you are bad at the subject, and help them to find different ways of approaching their problem areas.
