Benjamin: Morris County tutor
Certified Tutor
My name is Benjamin Stevenson. I recently received my bachelor's degree in Political Science and Arabic from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon graduating, I became increasingly interested in creating dialogues about social issues with creative writing. For this reason, I have begun working in the Journalism and Communications fields. I have years of experiences writing both in APA and MLA style. Additionally, my work has been published in multiple publications, and I am working on my first book, which I hope to publish in one year.
I can't say that I initially intended on going into education; however, after tutoring English to refugees in Morocco and Jordan, I have grown fond of teaching. I enjoy building a sustainable learning environment as well as a trustworthy relationship with clients in which we are mutually growing. I encourage asking questions and challenging formalities when it comes to writing. Still, I am well-versed in grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and anything that is pertinent to the English language. I'm very excited to be a Varsity Tutor and encourage anyone interested in my services to contact me.
