I am a Filipino and currently a Postdoctoral Scientist at Cedars Sinai's Regenerative Medicine Institute. I finished my Doctorate degree in Chemistry in Taiwan in 2017. Also, I have completed my Masters degree in the field of Biotechnology in Taiwan too. This makes me adequate in working with advanced data analysis and designing and developing feasible studies in order to fulfill the objectives of our projects. I believe that I have the capability and knowledge for this position. I am meticulous, organized, and productive not only as part of a team but also as a leader. I am fluent in English and can communicate well with other people.

I have a short experience in teaching Engineering students in a renowned university in the Philippines. I taught General Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. I found that teaching young minds is a big responsibility because a professor does not only teach the scientific principles of life but also the values in life. As a teacher, one needs to inspire the students to be creative and analytical and ignite their thirst for knowledge in Science. Many young people of this generation are reluctant in pursuing a career in Science. Therefore, as a member of an academe, we need to encourage the students to be one of the great minds of the future.

As a teacher, I am more hands-on and always engage the students into a discussion. This is my way to get into the minds of the students and observe how they think. From this, I would be able to perceive the kind of teaching approach in order for them to learn and understand the class. I would not only simplify the lessons but also make it challenging for them. This would also create a bond between the students and the teacher to make the discussion more lively and engaging. With this kind of teaching philosophy, I was able to get a very satisfactory rating from my students. Therefore, I can assure you that my teaching ability is at par with the current faculty in any university.
