I am eager to help students that are struggling with reading, writing, Spanish. Hopefully, with my help, students will not only raise their grades but also excel so that their weaknesses become their strengths. Additionally, I love the theater of teaching and if I can inspire creativity and curiosity in students by engaging them with individual attention and instruction then I'll have played my part as a tutor. As I already have an innate passion for reading and writing (having earned a B. A. in creative writing from the University of Houston) I am excited to pass on this passion to struggling students in a field I find meaningful and which I wish to pursue a career in the future as a professor of creative writing.
