Certified Tutor

I am currently two years into getting my B.S. in Chemistry. I first began tutoring in late 2016 to a student taking Introductory Calculus. I had no experience teaching, but as I tutored him he seemed to really take an interest and responded very well to the way I was working with him. He ended up receiving an A in the class, and I began to branch out to tutor and work with other students.
I worked with students mainly in Introductory Chemistry and Math, as I enjoy teaching and learning both subjects, both inside and outside the classroom.
When I am tutoring, my goal is to have the student understand what they are doing and hopefully feel a sense of reward and accomplishment when they do succeed. I think that learning is not just about knowing, but also also wanting to know more. Having an interest in a subject is key to succeeding in it.
Aside from my interest in science and math, I have great interest in Fantasy movies, TV shows, and literature, Kendama (a Japanese yo-yo-like toy), and playing games with my friends.
