I started playing guitar in the 3rd grade when a friend of mine brought his acoustic guitar to school one day and I asked if he could teach me a song. This would be the start of a lifelong journey that has enriched my life and given me the opportunity to play live as well as record my own music. Having gone through the various stages of learning from absolute beginner to a live-performing musician makes me an ideal tutor for you or anyone you're interested in getting lessons for! I've learned from friends, co-musicians, professional music teachers, and one-on-one tutors as well, so I believe that gives me a multitude of teaching styles to implement in my own tutoring sessions. It is my firm belief that anyone can learn to play guitar and improve their skills, regardless of background or current skill level. Whether you want to learn the basics or eventually start your own live-performing band and record your own music, I'd like to join you on that journey! Let's get started!
