Certified Tutor

As a middle school English Language Arts teacher, I am dedicated to helping students succeed. I attended St. Thomas Aquinas College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I then went on to attend New Jersey City University and obtained my NJ Teacher of English Standard Certificate. I have four years of experience as an ELA teacher and an additional five years of experience as a private tutor, special education aide, and teaching assistant. I place a high value on education and work very hard to help my students feel confident about their studies.
While English is my area of expertise, I have experience tutoring students in general homework help and study skills in all subjects. I am also available for midterm and final exam preparation. Whatever the subject, my top priority is to create a connection between the student and the subject matter.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family. I look forward to connecting with you for an online or in-person tutoring session.
