My favorite thing to do is helping people out, seeing the smile on someone's face when they understand something that was difficult for them is beyond rewarding.
I want to make a difference in someone's life, I want to make school exciting for them again! I am currently a university student in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in English concentrating on Language and Digital Technology; and I am also majoring in Art History! Currently, I have about a year of school left in order for me to receive my degrees. My favorite subjects to tutor are English based: writing, reading, and comprehension. I also feel extremely comfortable helping someone with visual arts or the history of art. Typically I like to encourage the student to work out the "issue" they have, I am here for support and encouragement. I'll also explain details further for someone if they are still unsure. I strive to help someone realize they can figure it out on their own with just a little help. The only way for them to really understand is if they work it out for themselves since I will not be there during a test.
