Tutoring is exciting to me because I enjoy helping students learn and seeing the "ah-ha" moment when they figure out how something works that they have been struggling with. As someone who enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures, I understand that there is not always one way of doing things. Working with a student on an individual basis allows me to understand his or her way of thinking and therefore help him or her understand a concept they may be struggling with. Oftentimes offering a different teaching perspective empowers a student and allows them to gain the confidence they need for success.

Currently I am a full-time real estate agent and spend my free time as a substitute teacher at a private school. I have tutored students in formal and informal settings since high school.
