My first experience with tutoring was my freshman year of college helping a pair of elementary-school-aged siblings with Spanish vocabulary. I've been studying and speaking Spanish since I was 5 years old and think language should be an important component of every child's education. I loved getting to work with kids on a subject that I enjoy and decided to pursue further tutoring opportunities as a result.

Outside of school and tutoring, I am very interested in the arts and spend a lot of time both creating art and viewing it. My fondness for creativity in learning applies to my tutoring technique as well, and I look forward to devising creative learning opportunities for my future students.
