Deborah: Montgomery County tutor
Certified Tutor
I studied at various schools in Wisconsin. I earned my BS-Chemistry from UW-Parkside. Though I am no longer in school, I strive to learn something new each day. I am currently researching gardening techniques to increase my harvest.
I began tutoring my fellow students while attending UW-Parkside. I enjoyed helping them understand chemistry concepts. Currently, I am a substitute teacher with a local school district. I work with middle and high school students. I tend to take assignments in the math and sciences.
I tutor chemistry and math. I prefer these subjects because I am a scientist. As a scientist, I understand the importance of having a solid understanding of the world around us. Science and math promote and support that understanding.
I believe in the uniqueness of each individual. Our unique way of learning and understanding. I feel it is important to learn in a way that most benefits each of us. Assisting students in their quest for knowledge carries tremendous responsibility with incredible rewards.
Outside of learning and tutoring, I enjoy gardening, home canning, crafts, sewing, crocheting and cooking. I will soon add fermenting food to my list. As I mentioned earlier, always learning.
