Liz Tzu once said, "Every journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step." This mantra enduringly resonates in my head every waking day. As a tutor, my role is to make sure my students understand that learning is an art, one that sparks curiosity and creativity. As a teacher, my role is to cultivate and induce ideas and confidence in my student's ability to learn, explaining to him/her that they are not alone. As a student myself, my role is to develop a robust interpersonal relationship with my student, allowing for our communication and relationship to grow and expand beyond the standard reach. This opportunity to teach others is something I will never forget, because I know that I will learn just as much from my students as they will learn from me.
