I am a licensed English teacher in the state of North Carolina. I have been teaching for six years, and I currently teach English literature and writing at a private school. I have published my own writing in local newspapers, and I am currently working on my second novel. I previously taught yearbook and journalism, which has given me experience with all types of writing. I enjoy the power of the written word and its ability to influence and change the world. I grade papers and analyze literature as a career. I work with over 100 students each semester. I have administered the ACT, and I have taught an SAT prep class after school.
