Certified Tutor

I'm about to start my third semester tutoring Business Calculus and Business Statistics at Northern Arizona University.

Tutoring has given me the opportunity to help others get through a very stressful aspect of life: academic struggle.

Considering how important academics are for personal development, I believe my role as a tutor is extremely important. I will do everything in my power to help a client achieve the level of understanding they seek.

For my career, I'm pursuing Actuarial Science which requires a deep understanding of Calculus and Statistics. I have taken many classes in these topics, so I am very confident about my knowlege of the material.

That being said, I recognize that there is a lot more to tutoring than just understanding the content. Tutoring requires strategic questioning and explanation.

I have attended multiple trainings on tutoring due to my work with NAU.
These trainings and my work experience have helped me develop an efficient and effective methodology behind my tutoring.

I hope that you will give me the chance to prove it.
