I am a junior at the University of Houston, majoring in Biotechnology with a minor in both Medicine and Society and Biology. Mentoring and teaching students has been a passion of mine ever since high school. I enjoy helping people understand subjects in which they are having difficulty in and advising them in ways they can improve in the subject or class to help them excel. I have been a tutor for various age groups and subjects for four years. I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students in Arabic, Listening Skills, preparation for the Spelling Bee, Algebra I, Geometry, Writing, essay editing, and any assignments in which they need help in. I have worked with both students that are struggling in their classes and students in GT/Advanced classes. My method of tutoring a students is usually by first seeing what the students understands of the subject and then figuring out where it is that the student needs help from. I aim to help the student become well-versed and successful in their class and area of difficulty.
