Certified Tutor

My name is Daniel Shah and I am a Resident Physician with extensive experience teaching in a variety of settings. I earned a 3.81 GPA and a competitive MCAT Score of 518 (97th Percentile) as an undergraduate student. As an undergraduate student, I have worked as a 1 on 1 tutor for several subjects including biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, and the MCAT. I was selected as a teacher's assistant for my undergraduate school's Biochemistry and Biology 1 courses where I taught group sessions focused on difficulty topics for students.
As a tutor, I tailor my teaching to the goals of my students. My sessions focus on high-yield topics that will my students succeed driven by examples and questions that students will likely see on their exams. I help my students identify their strengths and weaknesses as learners and develop study techniques that work for them and help them succeed outside of my sessions.
