Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the Education program at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, majoring in English at the Secondary (grades 6-12) level. I am now beginning my teaching career at the high school level. In my previous teaching experience, I have worked at the whole class level, but also have significant experience working with students one-on-one or in small groups. I am passionate about everything related to English/Language Arts, but am most enthusiastic about writing. It was writing that first made me love studying English, was always my greatest academic strength and love, and is something I still do on my own. I now enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for writing--as well as reading and other essential ELA components--with students.

Other than teaching and English-y things, I enjoy basketball, exercise, being in nature, and, of course, Netflix.
