Certified Tutor

As a PhD candidate studying soil microbiology, I have a wealth of experience in earth and environmental science, and biology. Before entering graduate school, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Carleton College. In graduate school, I have taught as a teachers assistant undergraduate level courses Principle of Soil Science, and Soil Microbiology. I love to teach, and I think learning should be fun and engaging. Everyone has a different learning style, so a tutor needs to be adaptable. I strongly believe that the key to helping students learn is listening, being patient and focusing on the students learning style.
