Growing up I constantly found myself writing; small stories, scripts for dolls to play out, and even personal thoughts that always seemed irrelevant. It wasn't until I started college that I began recognizing my writing as a passion. Taking classes and exploring the different styles of literature expanded my mind and helped me make the decision to become a writer. During my junior year I also chose to become a minor in film in hopes of pursuing screenwriting. All my life I've been waiting for a moment where I could settle with what I had in my life, but within the past couple of years, I've noticed that for me, not having a routine has been my routine. Being able to pull from a multitude of different life experiences and never being able to be complacent in what I choose has done nothing but encouraged me to promote that characteristics for others, which is what I hope to do for others through my writing. During my time at Dillard University I maintained above a 3.0 grade point average, and been a part of several on campus organizations. I have also completed over 120 service hours within the New Orleans community. I also worked in our campus writing center for 2 years and continue to do my personal best. It is all these skills, as well as many personal experiences, that make me a great tutor.
