Certified Tutor

I'm an experienced and attentive reading, writing and SAT prep tutor. I have worked as a basic English teacher for at-risk high school students where I taught students who had learning disabilities and/or where in danger of failing. I have also worked at a tutoring center and as a private tutor where I taught reading comprehension, writing, phonics, SAT test Prep and ESL.

My teaching philosophy is to create enthusiasm for learning and to develop effective strategies to support each student's individualized learning needs. My goal is to make learning fun, interesting and productive!
