Certified Tutor

As a current undergraduate student at Siena College, I am working towards a degree in Biology.

My tutoring experience mainly comes from helping fellow classmates before exams, as well as tutoring programs in high school. I typically tutor Chemistry, English, and Math, along with Biology and Psychology occasionally.

My favorite subject to tutor is Chemistry, because it is a basic science that can be built on in many different ways. Chemistry influences our everyday lives in ways that we do not often recognize, and I find it exciting to show others how some of the most amazing natural phenomena are rooted in basic chemistry concepts.

I believe that the most important part of teaching is a malleable understanding of the material. It is not only important to learn one concept, but to be able to think about it in different ways and build off from there.

Outside academia, I love to draw, sing, and learn new songs on guitar.
