Currently, I am working towards a BS in computer science with minors in mathematics and Chinese. When I'm not studying, I'm rehearsing with the Musical Theater Club or hiking.

When I'm studying, my goal is to make sure I understand why I'm doing whatever I'm doing. Whether it's Chinese grammar or a calculus problem, I want to know the reasoning behind each step. The same is true for my tutoring style. I believe it's important that students know why they are doing what they are doing, so they can solve problems when they are outside of a tutoring session.
