What is your teaching philosophy?
Let students enjoy the learning process and try to find the fun ways to learn without being stressed about grades. Being able to problem solve together with adults. Being open-minded to students and families.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Getting to know each other. Giving some ice break time, and finding out the interests and strength of students.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Help students set the schedule, and make the schedule as a routine. Have a plan that students and tutors set together, and periodically check via email.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Making sessions more interactive and energetic. Approaching lessons with different ways. Finding out the intrinsic motivations.
