Hi! My name is Alice Gong, (in case you couldn't read that), and I'm a current student at Brandeis University. I've always enjoyed helping other people, whether it be through volunteering, donating, or in this case, tutoring! I've tutored a bunch of friends in the past with math or science, as well as a bunch of children in subjects such as clarinet or math. I love spreading knowledge to people around me.
On my free time, I love music, listening (Kpop and instrumental), or playing (clarinet, piano). I also really like sleeping and going on the internet.
I'm excited to tutor anybody and everybody who wants some extra help!

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to be as hands-on as possible, because that's honestly the best way I learn. I also believe in equal opportunity, as in making sure everybody is given a chance to learn and explore.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Learn a little about them to see what they're interested in -- not just inside of school, but outside of school as well. Afterwards, I would make sure we tackle whatever we need to accomplish that day and figure out a plan for the coming weeks, if possible.
