I'm a recent graduate of Muhlenberg College who double majored in French and Theatre. I have a love of language, especially French, and my enthusiasm for this topic makes me excited to share my knowledge with others. I also enjoy learning about the nuances of grammar both in English and in French, so I enjoy teaching these rules to others in a way that simplifies them and goes beyond just memorizing them to really help them really make sense. I worked as a French Tutor at Muhlenberg College, where I have tutored students at various levels and helped them to succeed in their French classes. I love this job because of the individual level at which it allows me to work with students and to share my passion for this topic with them. I enjoy working in ways that the student finds the most effective to reach their individual goals, whether that means having conversations in French to improve comprehension, communication, and confidence in this area, working on specific grammar rules and exercises, or everything in between. At Muhlenberg, I was inducted into Phi Sigma Iota, the National Language Honors Society, and I was awarded the Phi Sigma Iota Award in French.

In the Spring of 2016, I spent a semester studying abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France, where I was enrolled in the French Honors Program at IAU College. While studying there, I received an award for excellence in French. In the Summer of 2015, I worked as a French RA at Middlebury Monterey Language Academy, which is a month long language immersion summer program. I worked directly with a hall of girls to whom I spoke to only in French. I loved this job, especially because of the direct role I got to play in helping this motivated students improve their French.
