I am a rising sophomore at the College of William and Mary, where I plan on working towards a double major in Neuroscience and English. I have tutored for 5+ years with multiple organizations, including nonprofits and a summer STEM camp. I have always been drawn to teaching because I find it intellectually stimulating and rewarding, and it also allows me to positively influence an individual and to contribute to my community. While I enjoy tutoring almost every subject, I am most enthusiastic about English/Writing/Literature. Growing up, I loved to read and write, and it's always wonderful to be able to instill that passion in a student. No matter the subject, I believe that good tutoring should teach a person more than just content; it should also impart lifelong study and learning skills, so that the student can succeed at whatever else they pursue in the future. In my own time, I like to read, listen to music, and explore new places.
