I believe that teaching is about engaging the mind. Students are introduced to think deeply and actively reproduce and alter the dynamic social world they shape and which shapes them.
Teaching is about
- developing students problem solving strategies
-Insuring that students understand foundational concepts.
-Modeling expert problem solving.
-Teaching students to work collaboratively.
-Reduce science and math anxiety.

Teaching techniques:

I have teaching experience on Algebra 1,middle school math.

I first talk to my students with one example and covering the motivations behind the techniques. I try to pick examples that can be greatly extended over the course of the semester as the knowledge base expands.When I am teaching a course, I often give questions to excite the students about the material and to get them thinking. The problems are challenging but carefully chosen to suit the level of the course and material taught.
