I'm a 25 year old recent J.D. graduate of Georgia State College of Law. I attended Emory University for my undergraduate studies where I was awarded a double major in Political Science and History. Currently I am interning with CAIR as I prepare for the February Georgia Bar Exam.
I love teaching and being involved with students. My lessons are highly energized and interactive for my students to retain as much as possible in a fun, relaxed environment. I focus on identifying each student's own particular style of learning and adjust my sessions with them accordingly, so that they get the most out of each lesson.
Everyone learns differently and I'm a strong advocate in building off each person's strengths and minimizing any potential weaknesses.
I have served as a high school coach for essay writing and debate. I've also had lots of experience with Elementary school kids from my time spent as a tutor as a parts of Emory Reads. I spent two years tutoring at various after school programs in the Atlanta Public Schools System.
In high school I took Algebra 1 +2, AP Calculus AB and Statistics and earned a score of 700+ on the SAT Math section. I also took AP US History, AP Government, AP Psych, AP American Literature, AP European History, AP Economics and AP Art History in High School. I scored 700+ on my SAT Writing and Reading sections.
I was also Social Studies student of the year my Junior year of High School.
I was an English minor at Emory University as well.
I am mobile and get anywhere around the metro Atlanta area and my schedule is very flexible so I can set up lessons at whatever time works best.
