Hello! My name is Laurel and I am a Seattle native who has spent over two years living in the Francophone countries of France and Senegal.

I have two years of teaching experience in France, Spain and the Seattle area teaching in both English and French. This past fall, I worked in the Seattle Public Schools before school program as a French language teacher introducing pre-K and elementary students to Francophone language, culture and food. During the 2014- 2015 school year I worked as an English language teaching assistant in Saint Etienne, in Eastern France, teaching primarily high school students and tutoring privately students aged 3-75! I graduated in 2014 with a joint degree in French Language & Literature and International Communications and recently completed a French Language certificate program in Lyon, France.
