I graduated from Old Dominion University in 2010 with a BSBA in Fiance and again in 2012 with a Master's Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I have wanted to be a teacher my entire life and spent most of my childhood playing school! In 2012, I accepted my first position as a teacher and taught 8th grade students Algebra and Geometry. I spent the following two years in the same school teaching 6th, 7th and 8th graders all middle school math subjects! I love working with students and watching them grow! I enjoy working one on one because I get to know my students even better that way! My favorite subject to work with is Geometry because there are many ways to go about solving problems and many of the problems have pictures which is great for visual learners!
