I hold a BS in Social Science Education and have tutored and taught multiple subjects and age groups throughout my academic career. I currently teach APUSH and AP Human Geography along with Economics and U.S. Government As an experienced tutor, I see tutoring as a way to share my love for lifelong learning with students on an individual basis. I believe that each student has the ability to be a successful learner, it is my job to help them determine how they learn best. My goal is to build up the confidence of your student and to help them to achieve their goals. My experience both inside the classroom and as a tutor enable me to help to provide a balance to assist in the success of your student. In addition to multiple subjects in the social science field, I also work with SAT/ACT/PSAT prep. I enjoy helping students plan and prepare for college;helping to hone their skills to be successful in the admissions process. I view these subjects as a puzzle and a way of understanding the process of test taking skills. In my spare time I enjoy reading historical novels, gardening, horseback riding and pursuing my Master's Degree in History.
