Certified Tutor

I am currently a sophomore studying Neuroscience at Penn State. I have taken all the science related AP classes in High School and have done two full years of biology, chemistry, calculus, and physics while at college. I taught a general biology class last semester and have tutored peers in these subjects in previous semesters. I believe that hands on, visual learning is the best way to learn to learn a science topic and I love making graphs, diagrams or concept maps to help understand the concepts. In addition to visual learning, I also find that outside sources, such as Youtube videos or teaching the topic in a new perspective can be very helpful in comprehending and applying difficult concepts.

In my free time I enjoy cooking and being outside. I love being active and playing sports. However, if its chilly outside I love to curl up with a blanket and read a Harry Potter book.
