I graduated from Rutgers University Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Cell Biology/Neuroscience and Economics. In the coming year, I hope to begin medical school and pursue my goal of becoming a physician. But aside from being a physician, my big goal in life is to pursue teaching. I was inspired by my high school anatomy teacher to become one who both practices medicine and teaches others. With that in mind, I set my sights on helping others learn in whatever way possible.

One of the greatest compliments I've ever received came when I helped my Calculus class in college understand a topic they couldn't grasp. They all came to me and said how I should definitely consider a career in teaching. And from then on, I've worked on practicing my teaching skills. Whether it be leading study groups, being a teaching assistant, or just helping others who needed it, my philosophy is that teaching others helps you bolster the knowledge you have within you.

And that's why when it comes to my tutoring style, I hope to teach others in a way that allows them to become teachers themselves. That moment when the realization pops on someone's face when they understand a concept is something indescribable. I want to witness this moment as much as possible and seek spread knowledge in an easy, relaxed manner. The key to successful tutoring is to not only have defined expectations, but also to not feel authoritative. I am learning from my students as much as they are learning from me.

Aside from tutoring, I am a fan of filmmaking and movies. My hobbies include archery, reading, and cooking. And I have no problem incorporating these hobbies, as well as my students', into our learning style.
