Certified Tutor

I am an alumni of the University of California, Riverside, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Literature and Culture. After studying abroad in China in 2014, I graduated from UC Riverside and began working as a digital file clerk for UCSF and as a wrestling coach at June Jordan School for Equity. I believe that independent and critical thinkers are what makes society a better place, and that a quality education can ensure that all members of our society have the opportunity to become independent, critical thinkers. These beliefs drove me to pursue a job as a 504 paraprofessional for the San Francisco Unified School District. This line of work was very challenging but rewarding, especially in seeing the leaps and bounds made by my students after working 1:1 with them. I am thrilled to offer tutoring in Mandarin, to help improve speaking, reading, and writing. Additionally, I can tutor SAT prep for the verbal and critical reading sections, which were my strong suits, and AP English Literature and Composition.Currently, I am studying for the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT), with the goal of practicing Constitutional or Civil Rights law. I am glad to offer my services as a tutor and, hopefully, make the world a better place!
