What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would question students to check the level of understanding on certain subjects, and design learning schedule with students.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I would show them my way of learning, and give them hints and tools to do research when they meet problems.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Keep encouraging students and make sure they feel confident. Also lead them to feel the happiness when they solve difficult questions.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
Talk with students to find out what they like most and get into their heart by being a friend with them through the topics they like.
