Following apprenticeship at major New York law firms (including the then largest law partnership in the world), I established a succession of midtown Manhattan law practices. Ive been on all sides of deals having represented buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, owners and officers. At Jamaicas national university, among other things, I delivered lectures to Bachelor of Laws students and provided administrative support as a curriculum designer and physical plant strategist.
I was born and attended primary school in Kingston, Jamaica, migrated to the USA and completed prep school at Phillips (Andover) Academy in Massachusetts. My post-secondary education includes an A.B. degree in Economics from Princeton University, a Juris Doctor from Fordham Universitys School of Law in New York City, and a Certificate of Legal Education from Norman Manley Law School. Currently, I'm earning a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from NYU's Schack Institute of Real Estate.
I have traveled extensively throughout the Americas, Europe and Africa spearheading capital financing search missions and other ventures. I speak Spanish comfortably and am familiar with Italian, Portuguese and French. While setting up an export company in Tanzania in 2007, I became literate in Kiswahili and continue to study on my own.
