I received my degree in cell and molecular biology, where I had the opportunity to get hands on scientific research experience. I have been a tutor for 8 years in a variety of subjects in the mathematic and scientific fields. My students have ranged in skill and course level, and include students from adolescents through the college level. My major goal is to help my students understand the core concepts behind their current coursework. Using real world examples to explain not only how to get to an answer, but to explain exactly why that is the answer is a huge part of my teaching philosophy.
