Certified Tutor
Throughout my entire life, I have always found myself in a position of teaching others, while continuing to learn myself. I attribute this to a natural gravitation towards teaching that I have acquired from my father, who is a teacher at the Cecil County School of Technology. In high school, I fostered my verbal communications and interpersonal skills by performing as the Anchoring Lawyer in the Mock Trial Team, motivating teammates as Captain of the Varsity Football Team, and leading classmates as a member of the Student Government Executive Board.
My time at the Johns Hopkins University as a Mechanical Engineering Student has resulted in an immense acquisition of mathematical expertise. Mathematical coursework includes Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus II, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, and Statistics for Engineering Majors. Additionally, my Mechanical Engineering coursework has required the consistent use of multivariable calculus and complex algebraic analysis. I have found that my skills have grown extensively through these courses, as I apply my mathematical knowledge each and every day of my studies. Additionally, I have held multiple positions in the Johns Hopkins Chapter of the Alpha Delta Phi, with the most recent being Philanthropy Chair. This position requires me to network, speak in public, and organize charity events for the benefit of the less fortunate.
These experiences, among others, make me an excellent tutor.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I love to get to know my students personally and understand exactly what they want out of their tutoring sessions. I believe it is important to understand the type of learning styles that work best for my students, so I can adequately convey my knowledge to them in the best format possible.
