I'm from Manchester (in the north of England) and have been living in New York since April 2015. I worked for nearly a decade in British politics - I was the Chief of Staff to a Member of Parliament (similar to a member of Congress) - before moving to Paris for two and a half years. Whilst in Paris I worked as a Editor at an investment company, and then as a English Teacher at a language school. I have been both a teacher and a student recently (I didn't speak French when I arrived in Paris!), so I understand that different students have different learning styles. What works for one student, might not work for the next. So when tutoring I am patient, easy to talk with, and creative.
