Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of St Matthews University School of Medicine. From St. Matthews, I received my Doctorate
of Medicine. I received my Bachelor of Science, with the focus in Mathematics, from Howard University.
Since graduation, I have practiced medicine in Jamaica and taught mathematics in New York City. While I
am able to tutor a broad range of subjects, my favorite is mathematics. I love math and I am passionate
about helping students master mathematical concepts. More particularly I try to instill a similar
enthusiasm for the subject within my students by showing them how math can be applied to benefit them in their real lives. I try to build on their confidence in their mathematical ability while emphasizing how
the process of reaching their academic goal can be a lot of fun. In my personal time, I enjoy running
and traveling.
