I work in different areas such as a German language tutor, as an acting teacher, and as a business and management trainer.
My teaching includes more than 30 years of experience.
I am a native German. Recently I moved to New York with my wife and my two kids.
I studied German (Germanistik) in Munich at the Maximilian Ludwig University, Germany, and graduated with the Magister in Germanistik. I worked for a lot of different companies like the VHS Berlin in Germany or the University of Arts in Graz, Austria.
I also work with people working in public or in public events / situations like managers, teachers, priests and many more. I can offer a wide range of tools and my longtime experience in terms how to build a speech / recital / presentation / lecture not only concerning rhetoric but also voice and body language.
I will support you with any kind of methodical demand. My work is entirely focused on the individual spectrum of my clients with the goal of bringing out the best each client / student has to offer.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching is totally adapted to the individual needs and demands of a student.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
The first step is always to talk about the actual knowledge of a subject, the experiences, the needs, and demands, etc., and then go from there.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
All of my students become independent learners! That's the first goal of a teacher. :)
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I never encountered a situation like that.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Repeating the subject from different angles and perspectives is normally the best way.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?

How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?

30 years of teaching experience:) Again the same answer. It's always a very individual process; every student is different.
