I was born and raised in France. When I was 13, my parents, siblings and I moved to the U.S.(Austin, TX). It was quite a culture shock! It is 20+ years later now, and I am so glad we moved! I visit my extended family in France as often as I can, but I am so happy to call Austin home. I still speak French with my immediate family (it is my first language), and try to teach it to my children. I love sharing the language and culture with others. I have experience and am comfortable working with all ages. I try to make sessions as laid-back, fun and engaging as possible.
When I am not busy being a mom to my two girls, I enjoy reading, traveling, running and recently started participating in triathlons.
I look forward to hearing from you!

What is your teaching philosophy?
I make sessions fun and engaging. I provide a lot of encouragement and positive feedback.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I might ask questions about the student's learning style. I would tell the student a little about myself and my ideas of what our sessions would look like. I would ask the students what their goals are for tutoring and what they would like from me.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I can help by providing a lot of encouragement. Learning a language takes a lot of practice.
