Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, I am currently a junior Religious Studies major at Macalester College. My main tutoring areas are English and French, and I have years of experience teaching and tutoring both subjects to students of all ages and skill levels. Having taught in a variety of classroom and one-on-one settings, I understand that a good tutor must be patient, attentive, and creative since every student learns differently. I am here to share my knowledge in a way that is focused on your goals, whether you need help editing a paper, preparing for a French exam, or improving your English communication skills. One of the great rewards of being a tutor, in addition to witnessing a student's academic progress, is seeing the confidence they gain in themselves as a learner. That confidence is invaluable, and I am proud to say I've helped so many students to find it.
