I am a Psychology Major at St. John's University. I primarily tutor Psychology at the high school level and English at the elementary and middle school levels, with a strong focus on Reading, Writing, and Vocabulary. I scored a 4 out of 5 on the Advanced Placement Psychology exam in high school, and have never received anything below an 'A' in every English course I've taken since the beginning of my schooling. I am very analytical and excel at identifying areas of concern and producing interesting and creative solutions. I am patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated to helping my students understand their course material and enjoy learning it. I value education immensely and realize the potential it allows a person to have, and will do whatever it takes to help my students see this value as well. In my spare time, I enjoy doing yoga, reading, knitting, and practicing the Spanish language.
