Certified Tutor

I am passionate about learning and enjoy working with students of all ages. I studied Economics and International Relations at American University as an undergraduate, and I am currently studying Ecology at Columbia University. I have tutored for a number of different non-profits over the years, and I enjoy working with all subjects-especially related to writing and math. I strive to meet student where they are and find a strategy that works best for them, involving positive reinforcement and creative approaches to learning concepts. Outside of academia, I love everything that's involved in being outdoors. Biking around the city, ultimate frisbee, and hiking are some of my favorite activities.
