Certified Tutor

I am a prior Air Force service member and was educated at the Defense Language Institute - Foreign Language Center at the Presidio of Monterey, California. I've obtained an Associate's in Arabic, and am currently working toward double major Bachelor's in Arabic and Computer Science.

I tutored many fellow students while receiving my Arabic education, and after I was finished I also taught introductory courses to groups of incoming students. Additionally, I've given many informative briefings over my time in military service.

I tutor all lower level common core subjects, but specialize in Arabic at an undergraduate level. Arabic is my favorite subject to tutor, simply due to comfort and passion for the language. I like teaching by demonstrating a concept, and then having it demonstrated back to me, until I know for sure that a student has absorbed the material. I don't like to teach AT students, and greatly prefer to move at the pace of their comprehension.

Besides academics, I really enjoy snowboarding, video games, reading, and getting to share experience with other veterans.
